I'm Jordan Gunn, a collaborative designer by degree and by nature. My BFA from Kendall College of Art & Design set the tone for a career built on partnership, and more than 20 years later, that's still what excites me about my work: the moment an organization's visual identity and story finally converge.
These past few years, I've done that work independently, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, running JCG Creative. I've helped organizations build brands that honor their core identity and ideals, even when markets don't always make room for either. Day to day, that looks like developing brand strategies, designing websites, and producing the content and collateral that keep it all feeling like one voice. I move easily between the thinking and the making: positioning and messaging on one side, the site, the deck, and the copy on the other. That way, nothing gets lost in translation between the idea and the thing you actually see.
